Hemangi Sawant is an American author of Asian Indian descent. She is a seasoned IT professional who has worked in IT for Compuware Corporation, Leprino Foods, and Comcast over the period of ten years and now owns a software firm with her husband.

Hemangi loves studying human behavior and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bombay University. She also has a Marketing Management Diploma from the Chetana Institute of Management in Mumbai.

Despite her successful career as a software professional, Hemangi made a conscious decision to devote her time and energy to her writing journey. Demonstrating her unwavering commitment, she has authored her debut memoir, Denver to Mumbai, A Story of Returning Home.

A well-versed speaker with effective Master of Ceremonies skills, she has shouldered the responsibility of a national-level award presentation in India apart from being an MC in America.

She is also a singer and formally trained in Hindustani classical vocal music. Hemangi lives in Houston, Texas, and when she is not working or writing, she relaxes singing Bollywood songs.
